The Ariel Family Doubles: Our Furry Boys

Hello there!

We are C3 & Maya authoring and creating The Ariel Series (@thearielseries). We’re sharing our life together as a Deaf and queer couple and our journey in building a family. We are currently pregnant with our first child which was conceived via artificial insemination. We’re looking to adopt and participate in foster care in the future as well. Hop on and have at it!

When we started seeing one another, you made it clear you wanted to become a mom one day. But I didn’t know how happy you’d be as a pregnant mother until two weeks ago.
When we surpassed 10K followers some weeks ago, we didn’t create any fanfare. We just sat back feeling so humbled by the opportunities and connections we’ve made thus far with The Ariel Series. Here are a few highlights we’d like to share that have happened since we set up this platform. Both big and small, this is only a fraction of the memorable impact @thearielseries has had on us:
“What is your baby’s gender?”
We’re gonna look back on the days like these. And say we’d do anything to go back and relive them again; relive the days where we decided to just take weekdays off for no good reason but to camp on the beach with the pregnant belly of a human we love so hard already.
10 days ago, we called them Little Joys. Today, we call them Big Love.
This morning, I told Aeneas he was a “chance baby”. #nibling
