Which Insurance, Fertility Clinic and Doctor???

Hello there!

We are C3 & Maya authoring and creating The Ariel Series (@thearielseries). We’re sharing our life together as a Deaf and queer couple and our journey in building a family. We are currently pregnant with our first child which was conceived via artificial insemination. We’re looking to adopt and participate in foster care in the future as well. Hop on and have at it!

I just need to word vomit today. No edits. No changes. Just say it as I think it. That’s how I write whenever I’m writing for my manuscript which I’m entirely fearful of sharing with anyone else even though it’s my dream to publish one day. Anyhow, what I’m trying to say is that I need to rewrite my vows. Our wedding vows from last year when we officiated ourselves at the kitchen table in Washington DC because the virus was raging all around us, ripping lives from left to right. With those vows, I spoke words of truth but I still think about them to this day, feeling like I could have written them better. I know I could have. I just wasn’t finding the juices in me to express just how incredibly lucky - holy heck, so lucky, I feel to be with Maya Ariel. She loves ME? How? How did whatever external force land her with me? And for life? Wow. So, yes, I need to rewrite my vows. And the awesome thing is that we are having a postponed wedding celebration this July. We get to renew our vows then. I think Maya is rewriting her vows too; not quite sure though. I know EXACTLY how I’m going to end my vows, but I need the meat. The substance. Look at her. This utter blessing of a human being. A wife. A MAMA. She’s carrying the human that’s gonna teach me a love I’ve never felt before. I’m not just renewing my vows to my wife. I’m renewing my vows with my biggest responsibility inside her belly. There. That’s a taste of my brain. No edits. (And how it usually is 23/7.)
Maya’s mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday this year. Immediately, I knew the perfect gift: a composting tumbler! With our settlement date approaching on our new home, that’s the first thing I wished to get to insert in our backyard and create our own nutrition-rich soil to grow our own herbs and veggie goodies and and and...
Today kicks off the third trimester! We’re on the home stretch now. Our little bub is gonna be here before we know it and we’re wildly excited!
This is as gay as it gets.
We have a Black nephew who is 2 months old.
