We are C3 & Maya. The Ariel Series includes content about life together as a Deaf and queer couple and our journey in building a family. While The Ariel Series is currently a relationship blog, it is in the works of expanding with a particular focus in becoming Deaf and queer parents. Stay tuned!

What do we call ourselves as parents?
Parenthood is a very gendered thing.
Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility, a day to celebrate transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming people around the world. It is also a day to begin standing up and taking action for trans folks if you haven’t done so yet. Swipe for a few things to do today, especially if you’re not transgender and would like to learn more about allyship.
This part of the process was our least favorite part. Nevertheless, it is one of the most important components to putting together your plan for trying to conceive via assistive medical procedures.
